Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today on a 2010 Infiniti G37 I'm gonna walk you through how to install the CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver. Adding a receiver like this onto your vehicle is gonna allow you to carry a bike rack, that holds up to two bikes, or maybe a cargo carrier. Really, this is gonna be designed for your bike racks, cargo carriers, not really much for towing. So, with that being said, this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Infiniti G37 - Draw-Tite- Video

Today on our 2013 Infinity G37, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4" receiver hitch, part number 24831. This is a light-duty hitch. A couple of examples you would use this would be a really small trailer, maybe 4' x 6' size, or a two-bike rack setup. Right off the bat, you can tell that there's not much sticking out. Everything is mostly hidden behind the bumper. This is going to be our 1-1/4" opening right here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Infiniti G37 - Draw-Tite- Video

Today on our 2010 Infiniti G37, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I trailer hitch receiver, Part number: 24831. Here's what the hitch looks like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it comes out pretty flush to the rear fascia here. You're not really adding anything to the rear of the vehicle, but that does give you really good accessibility. It's very well tucked away. All you can see is the back of the receiver tube up to the front of the receiver tube and these safety chain loops here. This hitch features a 200 pound max tongue weight rating and a 2,000 gross trailer weight rating. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Infiniti G37 - Draw-Tite- Video

Today on this 2011 Infiniti G37 were going to install part number 24831 from Draw Tite. This is what the hitch looks like once its installed on the car. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be 11 5/8 inches, and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper will be two and a half inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. The first thing were going to do is to go ahead and remove the license plate since we have to get access behind the license plate to get to some fasteners. more
